Many adults come to therapy after searching for, but not finding, adequate answers to difficult situations or questions.  It may involve coming to terms with the end of relationship, facing a new stage of life, or finding that the things that brought joy and purpose have lost their meaning.  This is usually accompanied by difficult emotions or noticing a lack of emotion.  A successful therapy should provide practical answers.  It should help with self-reflection and a push to break old patterns that get in the way of development.  When therapy works, it is an investment that can bring greater fulfillment in love, work and play.
